September 22 to 24, 2016
2016 NCRS Regional Progress Report Nov 2015
Our dates are from Thursday, September 22nd to Saturday, September 24th, 2016.
For those of you who have not heard, the Ontario Chapter of NCRS is pleased to announce that we will be hosting a Regional Judging Event next fall. We have formed an active and dedicated Regional Committee who are planning to make this a memorable event for all of our NCRS guests.
The site of our Regional is the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum at Mount Hope near Hamilton, Ontario, a short 80 mile drive from the Buffalo airport. Visit at www.warplane.com to see the site of our Regional and all the Museum has to offer. We have rented 20,000 square feet of hanger space on a very clean epoxy floor, surrounded by beautifully restored Vintage Aircraft. The site is right on the airport at Mount Hope, Ontario, providing high security for our cars and participants.
The hanger doors have glass fitted windows which will provide lots of natural light, and the high intensity lamps above will make our cars dazzle. There are meeting rooms, food facilities and washrooms. The area around the museum has secure parking for our trailers. The museum has a large and active membership which will be informed of our Regional through their Website and news blasts. In addition, local CCCC Clubs have been made aware of our event and many of them will incorporate this Regional into their Fall Drive activities.
We are actively looking for sponsors for our event, the sponsorships start at $500, please contact Steve Sanderson for details at email@example.com if you know anyone that may be interested.
Volunteers: an event of this magnitude requires a lot of help! If would like to give of your time for this very worthwhile event, please contact Doug McClure at (firstname.lastname@example.org) He will be happy to find you a position.
In closing, thank you for your time and interest in this upcoming NCRS activity.
Chairman, 2016 NCRS Ontario Regional
